Our fern plants are dormant bare roots known as rhyzomes.They have been in the cooler and will not come up totally the first season.But the following spring,you should see all the ferns alive and doing well.When you purchase "dormant plants" it's as if they are asleep and not growing as in the winter months.When you order in the summer and plant them,you may only see 5-10% of new sprouts.These plants are not dead when received.They do not have tops.All our fern plants are priced very affordable,most less than .75 cents each but you will be amazed at what a lovley plant the following spring you will have.

All Bare root plants & trees are packaged in accordance to American Nurserymans' standards.We dip every bare root plant in terrasorb moisture gel to seal  moisture in the roots. We  then  surround the root system in peat moss and wrap in plastic to further protect your plants for transit.This is old school and we guarantee you no one in the nursery industry packages plants to retain moisture like we do.
