Hypnum moss is also known as cypress-leaved plant moss. It's common around the world, especially in forests and shaded woodlands. It's one of the other twelve thousand species of spore-bearing land plants. Hypnum Moss is called "Feather Moss" due to its leaf shape.

Hypnum Moss is Best found on Dark Forest Floors and Rocks.

Hypnum Moss forms carpet-like sheets on dark forest floors and rocks; Its size ranges between small and medium. Its stems are short and medium reddish-brown. The leaves that grow from it are spiraled and skinny. They resemble the leaves of a Cypress tree. The leaves can grow to about two millimeters in length; This moss is colored a gorgeously vibrant green and darker green. The plant's spores grow in pods attached to stalks from the moss.
