Ladybugs are not only pretty to watch in your garden, but they contribute to the environment and help keep your garden healthy from unwanted insects. Ladybugs will eat all types of bugs, including aphids and maggot larvae. They will also eat any eggs that insect pests love to leave around your garden. It can be tough to see if there are any eggs or larvae on your plants, so employ the work of ladybugs to eat annoying insects that will come to eat your garden. Ladybugs will decrease any population that likes to feed on your plants. They are an excellent addition to your garden because of their numerous colors: red, white, yellow, and various other colors.

To attract ladybugs to your garden, you would have to avoid using any pesticides, including the organic variety. To attract ladybugs, you may leave some pest insects around your garden. Ladybugs also like flowers that are heavy in pollen, so if you have a garden full of lush flowers with pollen, you are sure to attract ladybugs. Ladybugs also like flower petals that form bells and provide shade from the hot sun. If you do not have heavy flowers in pollen, then stop by your local nursery to get all the colorful flowers you need to attract ladybugs. You will not only attract ladybugs, but you will also have the extra advantage of adding some color and beauty to your garden. If you are unsure how to get rid of insects from your garden, use nature to your advantage by hiring ladybugs to kill insects that munch in your garden. That is an excellent option if you do not like using pesticides around your garden.
