lady fern root chunks
They arrived well packed and the correct number was included. A few more planting instructions (eg; depth) would help but I knew enough to manage it. the packing was good and I appreciated the reminder that these will not probably sprout till NEXT spring. This is for a fundraiser and I will share that information with all who purchased the ferns. None of the root clumps was measly. It WAS hard to read which kind of fern was in each bag because the black marker that had been used was obviously running out of ink. Make sure your staff uses a DARK marker so your customers know which is which. Finally, I would have appreciated a packing slip so that I could double check the order with the number of ferns provided. I didn't want my laptop in the planting area because of water and dirt. But all in all, this was a good purchase.

Description
Lady Fern, also known as Athyrium Felix-Femina, is a Non-Flowering Fern.
Lady Fern doesn't have flowers.
Ferns are plants that are far older than bulbs, appearing during the Carboniferous Period. Still, the lady fern has beautiful, bright green fronds that grow to about eight to three feet long and two to 10 inches wide. When the fronds are lifted, the gardener will find sori along the underside.
Sori are bunches of sporangia, which contain spores, a fern's version of seeds. When the spores ripen, the sori burst open. The spores fall to the ground and then develop into tiny green plants that produce the male and female sex cells.
These sex cells come together, and the fertilized egg then grows into the mature plant that people prize. Ferns are pretty hardy and can grow with minimal care, though they flourish in high humidity found in a bathroom.
Lady Fern is a Good Decorative Plant for a Home
Lady Fern is excellent to have around the house. The plant grows anywhere from 1 to 2 ft high. The plant likes full but prefers some shade, if not complete shade. These ferns are hardy and robust but are not invasive and don't spread very vast. These ferns look great, along with a walkway area. The plant has very lush green foliage; This fern looks excellent growing in a hanging basket or planter.
