Shipping Information

We ship all plants usps priority mail. They arrive to most locations within 2-3 days. We package all plants to retain moisture to up to 10 days in transit. All plants ships from our warehouses in Tennessee. All plants are grown and shipped from out Altamont (zip) 37301 location. We do drop ship for re-sellers also for those wanting to resell our plants.

How We Protect Your Plants For Transit

All plants are dug and immediately taken to our warehouse and tera-sorb moisture retention gel is applied to the roots and then wrapped in plastic to retain superior moisture for transit. They are placed in corogated cardboard shipping boxes for protection when shipped

Upon Receipt Of Your Plants

Upon receipt of your plants, unpack and unwrap the roots and mist with water. Plant within 24-48 hours. If you can not plant within this time frame, put your plants in a cool location (ex- basement, garage or cellar) and water the roots daily. Cover them back up with the plastic so they will not dry out until you can plant them. After planted, water every evening after the sun goes down for 5 days.

Purple Trillium gives off a vast amount of lush, beautiful purple blooms


This perennial blooms during the spring months and will be a great addition to any garden. The Purple Trillium grows to be 8 to 16 inches and equally as wide. It prefers to grow in full sun to partial shade. This perennial also likes to grow in fertile, damp well-drained soils. With this plant, you can fill your flower bed with lots of color and plants that will bloom almost half of the year.

 Mature Height: 1 foot to 3 feet

 

 Spread 6 inches to 1 foot.

 

 Spacing: Clumping flowers so 1 foot between plants.

 

 Growth Rate: Medium seasonal growing.

 

 Flowering Time: Blooms from early Spring to late Spring.

 Flower Color: Reddish purple flowers.

 Flower form: This perennial plant has been long known as wake-robin as well as stinking Benjamin. The exquisite beauty of the plant is accompanied by a stench of rot that brings the flies that pollinate this unique spectacle of nature. The three petals of this trillium can be a half inch wide, and one ¼ inch in length are portraying the deep purplish red hue making them a valued flower among horticulturists.

Purple Trillium blossom stands upright and has the appearance of facing outward, in its unique beauty this remains one of the most unpleasant smelling flowers grown
