Shipping Information

We ship all plants usps priority mail. They arrive to most locations within 2-3 days. We package all plants to retain moisture to up to 10 days in transit. All plants ships from our warehouses in Tennessee. All plants are grown and shipped from out Altamont (zip) 37301 location. We do drop ship for re-sellers also for those wanting to resell our plants.

How We Protect Your Plants For Transit

All plants are dug and immediately taken to our warehouse and tera-sorb moisture retention gel is applied to the roots and then wrapped in plastic to retain superior moisture for transit. They are placed in corogated cardboard shipping boxes for protection when shipped

Upon Receipt Of Your Plants

Upon receipt of your plants, unpack and unwrap the roots and mist with water. Plant within 24-48 hours. If you can not plant within this time frame, put your plants in a cool location (ex- basement, garage or cellar) and water the roots daily. Cover them back up with the plastic so they will not dry out until you can plant them. After planted, water every evening after the sun goes down for 5 days.

It is relatively easy to care for a variety of flower with free-blooming plants that offer beautiful blooms over a comparably long blooming season. It is considered a comfortable care level of a plant with a medium growth rate.

Red Daylily (Hemerocallis) is a perennial and features repeat blooming

With a 7 inch approximately bloom size and potential for around 30 inches in height with an 18-23 inch spread, these flowers are easy to plant in normal, clay, or sandy soil. The soil in which it is planted may have a pH of neutral, alkaline, or acid.

Planting can be done according to the area in which one lives but follows the blooming pattern of coming in through mid to late summer. Planting should be done in areas of full sun to partial shade. This plant is optimal for accent beds and borders. It is known to be rabbit resistant and drought tolerant.

Red Daylily can also be used in culinary works. This beautiful flower can elevate any plate for a stunningly attractive accent and is entirely edible with a velvety-smooth texture and vibrant color

The red daylily features a significant number of blooms and thick green foliage. It is categorized as functioning a large bloom head with the blooms averaging around 7 inches. The brilliant, star-like trumpets make an excellent addition to cut flower arrangements.

Current modern varieties of the red daylily are the culmination of many years of breeding work which has now created a freely blooming plant with minimal gardening structure requirements. These star-like blooms emerge from clumps of dense, grassy foliage on an upright stem. It is suggested that old leaf can be removed in the late fall with flower stems that have been spent being trimmed as the flower finishes up. Dividing is not required for the red daylily for several years; however, it is a straightforward dividing process with effortlessly split apart sections during either the fall or early spring season.
