    Scarlet oak pictured

The scarlet oak pictured at the top (trees in a row making a path) are not scarlet oak. False advertising. I'm not sure what kind of trees those are but if you look at the leaves, they are not oak. For that reason I will not buy from this site.

Scarlet Oak Tree has a shape that makes it very versatile for most any landscape

It will maintain its rounded shape with very little maintenance or care. In spring and summer, it will provide cooling shade as well as attract wildlife. Birds, squirrels, and other wildlife love the acorn that it produces in the late summer to fall months. The foliage on this tree is dark green on one side and a lighter green on the other. In the fall, the leaves will turn a spectacular dark red.

Scarlet Oak Tree can easily be mistaken for the Black Oak or the Pin Oak

The Scarlet Oak is commonly found in zones 4-9. Scarlet Oak is mainly indigenous to the East Coast of the United States. They can also be found in some regions of the south such as Alabama. It usually grows from dry, acidic soils and can reach heights of 80 feet tall. This type of oak is hairless but does produce glossy green leaves.

Scarlet Oak also produces acorns that are about 33 millimeters broad

Immature acorns are a dull green color that changes into a brownish color when fully matured. This type of tree grows best when exposed to direct sunlight.
