What are the key features of the Willow Oak Tree?

The Top Features of the Willow Oak Tree

A few key features of the Willow you should note include:

  • This tree has leaves with a unique shape, as they are narrow and slender, setting them apart from the leaves of other oak trees.
  • The leaves of this tree have a lustrous, glossy finish to them.
  • The leaves measure two to five inches in length when they are fully grown.
  • There is a thin hair tip at the ends of the leaves, allowing them to drain rainwater better.

  • The Willow bark is thick, dark, and furrowed.
  • The branches have a gorgeous red and brown color when the leaves fall off.
  • The leaves start as green before turning to a pretty orange, brown, and yellow symphony of colors in the fall.
