Lobelia cardinalis, sometimes known as the Cardinal Flower, is a native American flower that is frequently used as a decorative garden species. The blooms of the native plant are crimson red. Individual seedlings have a brief lifespan, but the cardinal Flower reproduces by sending forth offshoots that swiftly overrun an area:
- Light-Cardinal Flower loves direct sunlight for about 6 hours daily; however, it can also survive moderate shade for about 4-6 hours daily. The bigger and showier the plant becomes, the more sunshine it absorbs.
- Soil-The Cardinal Flower prefers damp to wet soil, which can lead to other plants decaying, yet it suffers in dried, desolate soils. Apply a mulch covering over your plants to assist in maintaining moisture levels.
- Water-Cardinal flowers thrive in damp soil near wetlands. It may also thrive in medium-wet soil. On the other hand, this plant should never be left to dry up. Cardinal Flower is tolerant of floods on occasion.
Red weigela
Red weigela is a perennial shrub with several stems that may reach a peak and breadth of approximately 9 feet. Whole light will provide the most vibrant foliage and blossoms. The blooms that keep their vivid red color flourish between late spring and early summer. It will periodically rebloom at the end of summer or early autumn, although with fewer blooms:
- Light-Plants will blossom the maximum in direct sunlight but may also take partial shade.
- Soil-Weigela thrives on mildly acidic to mildly alkaline soil with a pH of 5.5 to 7.5. The soil must be wet as well as drained adequately.
- Water-Unless the location is scorching and dry, weigela requires almost no further water once planted.
Red Hibiscus
Hibiscus is a hardy flowering plant with lovely blossoms. Their diameters range between 2 inches to over 10 inches, with the majority lying somewhere around there. They are available in a rainbow of hues and tints. There are single and double blooms available. Most develop as big shrubs, reaching a height of 4-10 feet and a width of 3-6 feet. Malaysia's national bloom is a shrub native to Southeast Asia:
- Light-The more direct sunlight this plant receives, the better. Hibiscus prefers direct sunlight but may grow in partial shade.
- Water-Hibiscus dislikes being dry and prefers a root ball that is uniformly hydrated. It is critical to provide additional water within a year after growing in the soil till the plant is fully grown.
Red daylily
This attractive reblooming flower produces many huge, crimson velvety blooms with beautiful golden centers. Each blossom lasts around 24 hours on average. Bloom up every morning and wilt in the night to come.
