The nannyberry, also known as viburnum lentago, sheepberry, wild raisin, or sweet viburnum, belongs to the adoxaceae family and is native to the northeastern and midwestern United States. The nannyberry can also be found as far north as Canada. Nannyberry is a deciduous shrub that can grow anywhere from 14 to 16 feet tall and spread 6 to 12 feet in width and is one of the largest of the viburnum family. The nannyberry is a member of the honeysuckle family and has no pest or disease problems. This shrub can also grow as a small tree that can reach up to 30 feet.
