Maple Leaf Viburnum

This is a wonderful addition to my flower garden. Looks great where I planted it.

Maple Leaf Viburnum ranges from 3 feet to 4 feet wide and 4 feet to 6 feet tall. It is a native plant. The flowers that this plant produces are cream to white. The flowers are both male and female. The flowers are this color in May, June, July, and August. During the later months of July, August, September, and October, the flowers turn color to almost black.

Maple Leaf Viburnum Produces Fruit

After two or three years, the bush produces many seeds and fruit every year. The plant's names include squash berry, dockmackie, and possum-haw.

The bush grows on ravines, forests, and hillsides. Many of the forest's wildlife enjoy feasting on the bush, making it an essential part of the food chain and ecosystem.

The Maple Leaf Viburnum Looks Like A Mini Maple Tree

The leaves of the bush plant look like miniature mature maple trees. The leaves can grow anywhere from 2 inches long to 5 inches long. On the undersurface of the plant, tiny black dots decorate the foliage. During the fall, the green foliage becomes an excellent-looking purplish-red color. During the fall, the bush produces fruits between blue and black. The fruits can be compared to sweet peas when referring to size. The flowers produced by the bush are white.

The Maple Leaf Viburnum As Miniature Flowers

The flowers are miniature. The plant's flowers also produce what are called cymes. It can be molded to fit any garden, landscape, or business district.
